Senior Business Development Manager (US Market)
Holdmin is a strategic consulting and marketing firm working with founders, CEOs, and leadership teams across Europe and the US. They are seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to lead their commercial growth in the US market, focusing on building trusted relationships and opening strategic doors.
Responsibilities
Identify, prospect, and close new business opportunities in the US market
Lead the full sales cycle: discovery, proposal, negotiation, and closing
Sell high-ticket consulting and marketing engagements (retainers & projects)
Build and manage a qualified pipeline of founders, CEOs, and senior executives
Develop strong relationships with entrepreneurs, investors, and business communities in NYC
Represent Holdmin at events, meetings, and strategic introductions
Open doors through partnerships, referrals, and personal network
Understand client challenges and translate them into clear Holdmin solutions
Collaborate with Marketing & Consulting teams to shape proposals and offers
Provide feedback on market trends, positioning, and new opportunities
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Consulting
Proven track record selling professional services (consulting, marketing, strategy, advisory)
Experience working with founders, executives, or decision-makers
Strong commercial mindset with strategic thinking
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Based in New York City (or very close)
Fluent English (Spanish is a plus)
Preferred
Experience in consulting firms, agencies, or boutique advisory
Existing network in the startup, SME, or investment ecosystem
Understanding of European–US business dynamics
Experience selling retainers or long-term engagements
