Responsibilities

Own and grow a regional territory by building strong customer relationships and driving Life Cycle Services revenue
Serve as the trusted point of contact for customers, helping them maximize the performance of automated material handling systems (conveyors, packaging equipment, scanning, robotics, and software)
Understand customer operations and pain points to recommend practical, value-driven solutions
Grow existing accounts by upselling services to capital equipment customers and cross-selling to spare parts customers
Prospect and win new customers through networking, referrals, and outbound outreach
Customize proposals to align with customer buying requirements and approval processes
Communicate new DCS offerings and relevant industry trends to customers
Partner with local subcontractors, especially conveyor maintenance providers, when internal resources are unavailable
Act as an escalation point to resolve issues and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
Maintain accurate and timely activity, opportunity, and account updates in CRM (Salesforce)

Required

5+ years of sales experience in material handling, industrial equipment, or a related space
Ability to build genuine, long-term relationships with customers
Strong follow-through on commitments
Natural curiosity and comfort in learning how complex systems work
Ability to explain complex systems in an understandable way to customers
Strong business judgment and understanding of customer evaluation and approval processes
Ability to collaborate easily and value teammates' expertise
Self-motivated and organized with the ability to manage time, priorities, and pipeline independently
