They are seeking a founding engineer to own product slices end-to-end, focusing on delivering operational-grade user experiences and building robust backend systems.

Responsibilities
Own and ship workflow-heavy features end-to-end (queues, assignment/aging, approvals, exception handling, trade detail views, audit history)
Translate operational edge cases into durable lifecycle states and transition rules
Build reporting and export capabilities (filters, saved views, CSV/PDF-style outputs, print-friendly views)
Design and evolve durable Postgres data models that handle real-world OTC workflow complexity
Implement APIs/services that are predictable, testable, and maintainable
Build supportable patterns for background processing, event/activity tracking, and data integrity
Deliver consistent, high-clarity UI (strong information hierarchy, sensible defaults, validation, fast navigation)
Build “operator-grade” workflows (minimal clicks, easy scanning under time pressure; keyboard-friendly where appropriate)
Keep UX coherent across features (not a collection of one-off screens)
Build with secure defaults: permission enforcement, auth/session hygiene, input validation, secrets/logging hygiene
Implement auditability patterns with clear who/what/when traceability
Contribute to foundational infra hygiene (environments, CI/CD basics, monitoring mindset)
Qualification
Required
Highly capable full-stack capability across frontend + API + database
Strong ownership and judgment: take ambiguity and ship clean solutions
Solid UX instincts and front-end execution (make complex workflows usable)
Reliability: clear communication, predictable follow-through, production-quality delivery
Comfort operating in early-stage conditions (fast iteration, direct feedback loops)
Preferred
Fintech / financial services / trading experience (especially energy markets, OTC workflows, trade ops, post-trade, brokerage tooling, reconciliations, confirmations)
Experience building workflow-heavy enterprise systems (queues, approvals, exception management, audit logs)
IT security / infrastructure experience (RBAC, secure design patterns, monitoring mindset, SOC2-oriented thinking)
