Responsibilities

Qualification
Required
Undergraduate studies in finance, economics, accounting or statistics; advanced degree in financial field desired
CPA preferred
Typically, ten or more years of relevant experience related to accounting, finance, insurance or administrative business functions, with at least five years of management level experience
Advanced knowledge of statistical analysis, financial statement preparation, budgeting and financial analysis techniques, and related business operations
Facility with GAAP and statutory accounting practices and insurance/financial service business requirements
Thorough knowledge of administrative policies and procedures required
Preferred
Preferred leadership experience
Proven experience in financial analysis, planning, forecasting, and project leadership OR P&C actuarial experience
Strong background in Property and Casualty insurance
Experience in driving organizational change
Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
