SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC/PLCYPLN)

Responsibilities
You will serve as the SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC/PLCYPLN) in the Network Services Branch (N523), Plans, Programs and Requirements Department (N5) at Naval Computer and Telecommunications Area Master Station, Pacific (NCTAMS PAC)
You will be responsible for leading the Information Management (IM) and Information Technology (IT) activities relating to policy, planning, and delivery of services
You are responsible for leading strategic planning
You will serve as the command’s expert on Information and Knowledge management
You will serve as the command’s expert on Web Services Development and Implementation and planning for large scale network operations for voice, video and data systems
You will be responsible for capital investment control and planning; requirements collection, Program Objective Memorandum (POM) submission, validation and budget planning
You will perform a variety of functions on a wide range of Information Management and Information Technology issues
You will be responsible for leading the N5 contracts portfolio management activity providing a range of IT and Telecommunications operations, maintenance, and services supporting the NCTAMS PAC missions

You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty
This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code 752 and 801, proficiency level ADVANCED the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies
Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required
You must successfully complete a Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph with No Deception Indicated (NDI)
This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites
You will be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Passport
Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics
You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination
Applicants must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position
You must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below: Attention to Detail, Customer Service, Oral Communication, Problem Solving
In addition to my experience demonstrating the four competencies above, I have qualifying experience such as: Experience formulating policy and financial plans for capital and operational costs to include associated appropriations and budget with financial obligations associated with infrastructure procurements
Experience managing and tracking investment portfolio and budgets
Experience supervising and establishing workload priorities based on the employees' capabilities while identifying developmental and training needs
Experience developing mid and long-range plans and related cost estimates for future networking services
