Responsibilities
Design and develop Java / Spring Boot microservices for:
Order processing
Inventory synchronization
Pricing & promotions
Build event-driven, real-time systems for pricing and stock availability
Integrate with POS systems, payment gateways, and loyalty platforms
Deploy and manage services on:
Azure (AKS, Service Bus, Cosmos DB) or
GCP (GKE, Pub/Sub, Firestore)
Ensure high availability and fault tolerance during peak retail seasons
Qualification
Required
8+ years of backend development experience with Java & Spring Boot
Strong experience with Azure or GCP
Expertise in event-driven architectures (Kafka / Pub-Sub)
Hands-on with Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tools
Preferred
Retail ERP / OMS integration experience
Real-time analytics or streaming data exposure
Familiarity with Azure Retail Accelerator or Google Cloud Retail API
