Responsibilities
Leadership: Collaborate with other engineers to review and provide technical guidance on designs and calculations and assist in executing work plans efficiently
Technical Expertise: Apply broad knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices. Stay up to date with industry-specific topics and trends. Keep electronic technical library up to date with current codes, standards, and technical reference material. Occasionally assist with engineering production
Mentoring/Training: Mentor and develop engineering team members. Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment including assisting with mechanical career development
Quality Control: Ensuring technical accuracy of drawings, specifications, and reports for mechanical engineering
Collaboration: Work alongside other departments and external clients to achieve project goals
Standards: Creating and maintaining mechanical engineering processes and standards
Client Relations/Marketing: Participating in business development/proposal generation for projects and clients
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with PE designation
Minimum of 15 years of experience in consulting engineering, including technical engineering management
Proficiency in mechanical engineering design, mentoring and training, and technical leadership
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients
