Assist the County Maintenance Manager and take charge of all maintenance operations within a designated area of Washington County
Apply engineering principles and practices to make informed decisions regarding the execution of work assignments
Propose safety enhancements for maintenance projects
Provide technical leadership and guidance to address complex challenges by conducting independent engineering analyses and calculations to resolve issues related to maintenance projects
Qualification
Required
Six years of civil engineering experience in the appropriate specialty; and an Engineer-in-Training certificate issued by or acceptable to the Pennsylvania State Registration Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors and Geologists; or
Five years of civil engineering experience in the appropriate specialty; and an Engineer-in-Training certificate issued by or acceptable to the Pennsylvania State Registration Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors and Geologists; and an associate's degree in civil engineering technology or a closely related engineering discipline; or
Two years of professional civil engineering experience in the appropriate specialty, and a bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a closely related engineering discipline
This position requires possession of a valid driver's license
You must be able to perform essential job functions
