Maintenance Repairman 2 (Seasonal) - Shawnee State Park

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a Maintenance Repairman 2 for Shawnee State Park. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining park roads, trails, and facilities, while engaging in skilled journey-level tasks across various trades to ensure the preservation of natural landscapes.

Responsibilities

Engage in skilled journey-level tasks across various trades, including building, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, welding, and masonry
Focus on the construction, maintenance, and repair of park buildings, facilities, equipment, and natural resources
Reach out to vendors for price quotes
Calculate the costs of supplies and equipment
Estimate the man-hours needed for tasks
Prepare forms for supervisor review and approval
Guide semi-skilled laborers, laborers, and other team members throughout project completion

Required

Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or
Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities
You must possess a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License
You must be able to perform essential job functions
