Responsibilities
Develop and implement IT strategies within project timelines
Manage and lead IT teams to achieve project deliverables
Evaluate and recommend technology investments tailored to project needs
Oversee system updates, migrations, and upgrades permanent to the project
Ensure compliance with IT security standards and project specific policies
Oversee the operation of the DevOps deployment pipeline to ensure successful application delivery
Qualification
Required
5+ years of work experience
NEED IRS MBI Clearance
15+ years of experience in IT leadership, architecture, specializing in Java
Fluent in DevOps methodologies
Highly skilled in DevOps tools such as Cloud Bees Jenkins, GitHub, Nexus etc
Proven experience in IT management roles, preferably as a contractor
Highly knowledgeable in Java, J2EE, Objected Oriented Programming Concepts and Patterns, XML, REST, Spring Boot/microservices, workflow architecture, and container-based technologies (e.g. OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes etc.)
Ability to deliver results within tight project deadlines
Preferred
PMP certification is highly desirable
