Responsibilities

Work alongside renowned experts, providing medical professionals with world-class diagnostic data

Learn a wide variety of assays, develop deep expertise in healthcare and medicine, and work with state-of-the-art instrumentation and robotics

Consult and guide colleagues and physicians

Utilize technical skills and expertise to oversee the laboratory and ensure the accuracy of all testing

Mentor and network with professionals, publish papers, and attend external meetings to stay current in the field of expertise

Work with universities and companies on projects and present both internally and externally

Qualification

Required

PhD in relevant chemical, physical or biological sciences

Currently board-certified or board-eligible to direct a high complexity clinical laboratory (ABB, ABCC, ABMLI, ABMM, NRCC or DMLI, as appropriate)

In-depth knowledge of diagnostic immunology with a focus on infectious diseases and emerging technologies

Strong understanding of laboratory regulations, quality assurance principles, and accreditation standards (e.g., CLIA, CAP, ISO)

Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and coordinate resources effectively

Exceptional communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including clinicians

Proven history of driving process improvement initiatives and delivering results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
