They are seeking full-time Quality Control Technicians to join their Lab Department, responsible for testing production samples and ensuring product quality meets customer specifications.

Responsibilities
Take samples on the production line and test them for density, color, etc. to ensure product meets customer specifications
Perform ongoing laboratory and physical test of dry blend batches
Troubleshoot dry blend materials to determine the cause/causes of problems and recommend corrective measures
Test a variety of ingredients (resin additives, blending compounds, etc.) prior to use in the manufacturing process
Interact with the Production Department leadership team and employees to communicate daily issues and pertinent information as needed
Set up and operate lab equipment for performing all laboratory and physical tests
Complete appropriate logs and paperwork pertaining to the laboratory (both manual and computer documentation)
Maintain an inventory of all supplies needed for lab
Follow all plan safety procedures in order to ensure personal safety and the safety of others
Qualification
Required
Self-starters who are willing to learn
Great attention to details
Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
Strong work ethic - dependable and demonstrate good attendance
Able to work a 12-hour shift
Able to calculate basic mathematical formulas
Working knowledge of computers (MS Office and Excel)
Able to meet the physical qualifications for this position which include: Standing for extended periods of time, Lift, throw, bend, squat, twist and reach, Lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs
Need to be able to read, write and understand English
Have a positive attitude and be willing to assist others when needed
