Responsibilities
Drive successful execution of design, production, and test of mechanical hardware with keen focus on program milestones ensuring deliverables meet schedule, cost, and performance targets
Drive requirements development, lead design effort, and ensure requirements validation across mechanisms portfolio
Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers, senior leadership, and Integrated Product Team (IPT) leads
Proactively identify issues, develop resolution strategies, actively communicate issue resolution paths with stakeholders, and drive resolution
Qualification
Required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to convey technical concepts to both technical and non technical audiences
Strong analytical mindset with a track record of tackling high impact, time sensitive issues
Ability to quickly diagnose, prioritize, and resolve issues of varying complexity and urgency with ability to perform root cause analysis
Proficiency with MCAD software such as Solidworks, Creo, or Catia
Familiarity with risk and opportunity management
