Responsibilities

Provide on-floor electrical engineering support for electronics manufacturing operations, including circuit card assembly, box build, and system integration
Lead investigation, root cause and corrective action (RCCA) for electrical, test, and yield issues impacting production
Serve as the primary technical escalation point for 2nd shift manufacturing issues, ensuring rapid containment and resolution
Develop, maintain, and improve electrical manufacturing processes, test methods, and work instructions to meet design intent and workmanship standards
Support production readiness for new product introduction (NPI), engineering changes, and configuration changes
Collaborate with Design Engineering to resolve producibility, testability, and obsolescence issues
Partner with Quality Engineering to support audits, customer escapes, nonconformances, and corrective action plans
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers, technicians, and manufacturing personnel
Support capital equipment selection, validation, and implementation related to electrical test and manufacturing processes
Ensure compliance with internal procedures, customer requirements, and applicable aerospace standards (e.g., AS9100, IPC)

Required

The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
Experience supporting electronics manufacturing environments (e.g., circuit card assembly, test, integration)
Experience in Aerospace or Defense Manufacturing
Experience with troubleshooting skills across electrical circuits, test equipment, and manufacturing processes
Familiarity with IPC standards, ESD controls, and high-reliability electronics
Experience supporting test stations, ATE, or functional test environments
Experience supporting off-shift or extended-hour manufacturing operations
