Responsibilities

Coordinate with vendors for purchasing instruments
Oversee daily lab operations including reagent procurement and inventory
Manage IBC protocols for recombinant DNA, viral vectors, and human cell culture
Lead IACUC protocol management and support inspections
Act as lab safety officer, maintaining documentation for EHS inspections
Support research using bacterial/mammalian cell culture, qPCR, and recombinant DNA techniques

Required

High school diploma or Associate's degree, Bachelor's degree preferred in microbiology, molecular biology, or chemistry
Interest in technical aspects of cancer/rare disease diagnostics or therapeutics
Familiarity with lab equipment (centrifuges, microscopes, etc.)
Strong organizational and independent work skills
Willingness to learn new techniques as needed

Preferred

Experience with molecular cloning, flow cytometry, immunoassays, cell/organoid culture
Strongly preferred: animal model experience
