Responsibilities
Full case management from initial intake through resolution
Draft and respond to written discovery
Conduct and defend depositions
Handle motion practice, hearings, and mediations
Evaluate case strengths, weaknesses, settlement value, and verdict potential
Meet strict reporting guidelines with timely updates, analyses, and recommendations
Trial experience is preferred but not required-however, the ideal attorney is ready and willing to try cases
Collaborate with legal teams, clients, and leadership in a high-volume insurance defense practice
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school and licensed to practice in Oklahoma
10+ years of litigation experience; insurance defense strongly preferred
A detail-oriented self-starter committed to excellence and adherence to firm procedures
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical abilities, critical thinking, and sound judgment
Ability to manage deadlines, reporting requirements, and complex caseloads efficiently
A team-oriented attorney who thrives in a demanding environment and demonstrates strong organizational skills
Preferred
Prior insurance defense experience is highly valued
Trial experience is preferred but not required-however, the ideal attorney is ready and willing to try cases
