Responsibilities
Setting up and operating turret/laser equipment to cut metal components to print and MPE quality requirements
Identifying raw materials, loading and unloading materials using manual lifts, overhead cranes, and forklifts
Working and understanding Inspecvision scanner
Assemble and disassemble turret tooling correctly and sharpen tooling
Perform nozzle alignment and focus lens cleaning
Perform laser/punch zero coupon before the start of shift
Flexing to shakeout (part separation), deburring, hardware insertion or press brake operations based on workload
Responsible for following all MPE safety policies
Responsible for maintaining an organized workplace through good housekeeping efforts
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent required
6-18 Months running laser equipment
Must be able to read mechanical drawings and understand standard and metric dimensions
Knowledge on the use of measuring tools, such as calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, and height gauges
Regularly required to stand, lift up to 50 pounds, operate machinery
Must be able to read and understand written instructions and blueprints
