Qualification

Required

High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Related military experience or trade/industrial school graduate and/or trade experience
AMPP Basic Coatings Inspector (CIP Level 1)
Must currently hold and maintain a Secret security clearance
U.S. Citizenship is required

Preferred

Approximately seven (7) years of experience related to electronics and combat systems corrosion control maintenance on U.S. Navy ships and submarines
Experience with Electromagnetic Environmental Effects including Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) and Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) and methods to mitigate problems
Experience with processes and requirements as they pertain to shipboard organizational level corrosion control of C5I systems
Experience with corrosion control technologies and procedures
Thorough knowledge of surface preparation tools, corrosion control techniques, coating application tools and coating systems used on U.S. Navy and/or Coast Guard ships/boats
