Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation and filing of class action lawsuits related to wage and hour violations
Conduct legal research and analyze case law relevant to wage and hour class action claims
Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
Participate in depositions, trials, and other court proceedings as needed
Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and identify key legal issues
Communicate with clients to gather information and provide updates on case progress
Stay current on developments in labor law and wage and hour regulations
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
Strong research and writing skills, with the ability to draft legal documents clearly and effectively
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with clients and colleagues
Ability to handle multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
3-5+ of experience in employment law, with a focus on wage and hour issues preferred
Experience with class action litigation is highly desirable
