Responsibilities

Support customers in tool maintenance and corrosion control on U.S. Navy ships and submarines

Repair and maintain an extensive variety of surface preparation and paint application tools

Qualification

AMPP Basic Coatings InspectorNAVSEA Basic Paint InspectorCorrosion controlTool maintenanceSurface preparation

Required

High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Related military experience or trade/industrial school graduate and/or trade experience

AMPP Basic Coatings Inspector (CIP Level 1) or NAVSEA Basic Paint Inspector (NBPI)

Approximately five (5) years of experience that is related to corrosion control and tool maintenance on U.S. Navy ships and submarines

Experience with surface preparation tool maintenance, repair and/or consumable selection

Experience repairing and maintaining an extensive variety of surface preparation and paint application tools

Must currently hold and maintain a Secret security clearance

U.S. Citizenship is required
