Responsibilities
Operate mixers and other equipment in the department
Work safely by following all safety standards and procedures
Weigh chemical raw materials and take precise measurements
Keep the work area clean and free of debris
Visually check each ingredient for abnormal conditions
Ensure that the mixer is clean and in working condition at start-up and changeovers
Perform other duties as assigned
Follow instructions to prepare mixes according to confidential recipes
Qualification
Required
Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
Able to pass a background check
Able to work in the US
Able to lift up to 50-pounds
Good vision, depth perception, hearing and speech
Must have no known allergic reactions or sensitivity to chemicals, dust, and fumes
Must be able to follow written and verbal instruction
Preferred
Production / Mixer experience preferred
Previous mixing or machine operator experience is preferred
