Engineers' software, configures high-level software packages
Provides the final level of escalated support for First Solar's Mfg Systems and data architecture
Coordinates, schedules and prioritizes solar module manufacturing operations for Semiconductor or Module manufacturing areas
Utilizes a broad spectrum of data sources to identify and implement improvements to manufacturing operations
Identifies and implements improvements resulting in positive impact to factory performance metrics and employee health, satisfaction and retention
Assists in the installation and qualification of systems
Troubleshoots day-to-day manufacturing issues
Identifies and/or implements system improvements that contribute to the achievement of throughput, yield, and product performance goals
Responsible for developing a globally aligned warehouse strategy for the site
Drives a lean, efficient and optimized warehouse covering BOM, Spares, Consumables and Finished Goods
Ensures the overall performance of the warehouse and inventory control functions
Drives continuous improvements, creates a culture of safety, and adheres to the warehouse budget
Performs management-level strategic human resources related duties
Ensures all human resources functions and activities run effectively and efficiently
Carries out responsibilities across the HR generalist spectrum, including recruiting, employee relations, transaction preparation & processing, process and procedure development and interpretation, benefits, training & communication
Oversees and directs the work of reporting HR staff and encourages the development of the HR staff
Designs, Develops, Tests and Implements Manufacturing Software System
Works with the MES architect to ensure solutions integrate seamlessly with the MES hardware and software systems
Provides support for First Solar's Manufacturing Systems, R&D, and Quality systems and data architectures
Supports manufacturing operations, assists with equipment implementation/startup
Development of electrical controls systems/designs, PLC/HMI programming, data collection and optimization of manufacturing processes control systems
Directly supports a manufacturing site
