Responsibilities
Oversee daily CNC machining operations across multiple shifts
Manage production schedules, staffing, and labor utilization
Lead and support machining and programming teams
Monitor quality, safety, delivery, and cost performance
Address production issues and communicate status to leadership
Support continuous improvement efforts to improve efficiency and throughput
Ensure machining processes meet internal and customer requirements
Manage departmental costs and operate within budget
Develop and coach team members; handle performance management as needed
Provide regular updates and basic operational reports
Qualification
Required
Experience leading CNC machining operations in a production environment
Strong working knowledge of CNC machining processes and equipment
Background with CAD/CAM and digital manufacturing tools
Familiarity with common CNC controls (Fanuc, Siemens, Mazak, etc.)
Proven ability to manage people, schedules, and priorities
Comfortable in a fast-paced, multi-shift environment
Continuous improvement mindset
Preferred
Basic computer and ERP system experience preferred
