Industrial Maintenance Technician (Day Shift)
Aegis Worldwide is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations of industrial equipment and facility systems. The role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving equipment while supporting production through preventative maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities
Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems
Diagnose equipment failures and implement permanent corrective actions
Maintain and repair motors, gearboxes, conveyors, pumps, compressors, and material handling systems
Perform electrical troubleshooting on 480V, 208V, and 120V systems
Support PLC troubleshooting (I/O, sensors, VFDs, HMIs – level dependent on experience)
Perform equipment installations, upgrades, and rebuilds
Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and manuals
Document maintenance activities in CMMS and follow preventive maintenance schedules
Support production startups, changeovers, and shutdowns
Ensure compliance with all safety policies, OSHA regulations, and company procedures
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Collaborate with engineering, production, and outside vendors as needed
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school preferred
2+ years of industrial maintenance experience (manufacturing, food & beverage, packaging, or similar)
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
Experience with industrial equipment such as conveyors, motors, pumps, and gearboxes
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
Basic PLC troubleshooting experience preferred
Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and CMMS systems
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to lift up to 50–75 lbs
Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces
Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or rotating shifts as needed
Ability to respond to emergency maintenance calls
Preferred
Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
PLC experience (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar)
Welding and fabrication experience (MIG/TIG/Stick)
Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
Knowledge of VFDs and motor controls
Experience in food processing or regulated environments (FDA, USDA, GMP)
