Fabricate and assemble sheet metal components according to specifications and blueprints
Hang and install ductwork and sheet metal
Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments to complete tasks
Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet industry standards
Troubleshoot and repair equipment as necessary
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Mechanic or Ductwork Mechanic
Strong understanding of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
Physical stamina
Ability to lift heavy materials as needed - at least 50 lbs
Will have to pass a criminal background check
