Responsibilities

Act as a pivotal business partner to Marketing’s Global Strategy and Operations and Specialist teams, managing reporting, budgets, POs, forecasting, and performance metrics while communicating key insights
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial planning cycles, driving visibility into Google’s marketing spend and resource planning decisions
Contribute to Marketing’s Long-Range Plan and Annual Planning processes. Support resource allocation, including headcount and payroll planning
Provide data-driven insights to support decision-making, ensuring alignment with overarching business objectives. Partner across Marketing Finance teams (e.g., product and territories) to drive and share process best practices
Communicate clearly and effectively, providing financial insights and key performance drivers to Marketing and Finance leadership

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience
2 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, consulting, related function, or an advanced degree

Preferred

Knowledge of SAP
Ability to grow in a changing environment, and maintain executive presence and perspective in the midst of changing timelines and rapid decision making
Ability to transform raw data into clear, actionable insights and executive summaries
Ability to draw insights from data and manage recommended actions with excellent problem-solving and investigative skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to remain personable yet persistent while articulating information to audiences
Proficiency with one data query language (e.g., SQL or similar)
