Director of Compliance and Survey Management

Responsibilities
Implements a schedule of training and compliance checks at the residences to ensure compliance with company policies and State regulations
Provides direct support, to include collaboration with the regional team on hiring, training, coaching or discipline, staffing, performance evaluations, advancement, separation and related supervisory duties, with the primary focus of monitoring the effective delivery of service to Residents and maintaining regulatory compliance
Audit that required documentation is completed accurately and thoroughly, and that all records required by regulatory agencies or company policy are maintained effectively and according to guidelines
Assures quality monitoring processes are in place and partners with the regional team to support residence level quality management and performance improvement practices
Establish process to categorize deficiency risks and mitigate them through proactive interventions and education
Provide onsite and remote support to residence leaders when surveyors are in a residence
Audit processes in accordance with company policies and State regulations and report on trends
Supervises writing plans of correction, submission and coordination of implementation documentation with residence leaders
Identifies need for, develops, and conducts training as required by regulatory agencies and by company policy
Qualification
Required
Active RN license
Regional Nurse for at least 1 year in senior care setting
Prior experience managing surveys in multiple sites and regions within a state
Preferred
Prefer PA Medication Trainer or Practicum Observer for Medication Administration course
