VP - New Business Development (Insurance BPO/BPS)
Coforge is seeking a senior leader to drive strategic revenue growth in the North America Insurance market. The role involves spearheading new client acquisition, developing executive relationships, and managing the full sales lifecycle from pipeline creation to deal closure.
Responsibilities
Achieve annual revenue targets and profitability goals through strong sales execution, optimized pipeline management, and strategic account expansion
Identify and close large, complex BPO/BPS opportunities across Insurance—both new logo acquisition and cross‑sell into existing accounts
Stay ahead of market trends, client priorities, regulatory shifts, and emerging Insurance technologies to uncover new opportunities
Establish and sustain C‑suite and senior leadership relationships within target Insurance organizations
Demonstrate strong consultative selling—understand client business models, operating environments, technology landscape, and outsourcing objectives
Lead end‑to‑end deal cycles, including problem discovery, solution positioning, proposal development, negotiations, and contract closure
Partner with the internal marketing team to develop lead‑generation programs, client outreach campaigns, and thought leadership initiatives
Represent the organization at industry forums, conferences, and client workshops to enhance brand presence and credibility
Collaborate with delivery, solutioning, and product teams to craft winning value propositions aligned with client needs
Analyze market landscapes, competitor activity, and client pain points to shape differentiated solutions
Drive proactive risk management, mitigation planning, and commercial modeling to ensure deal health and delivery success
Maintain in‑depth knowledge of client contracts, pricing frameworks, revenue metrics, and service level performance
Qualification
Required
Demonstrated expertise in Insurance Operations —preferably P&C, or L&A with strong exposure to P&C processes
10+ years of outside sales or account management experience in Insurance services, BPO/BPS, or similar enterprise‑level solution sales
Proven ability to open doors, secure meetings with CXOs/VPs, and close high‑value outsourcing deals
Strong client‑management, negotiation, and influencing skills at the executive level
Exceptional business and financial acumen with strong analytical, problem‑solving, and risk‑assessment capabilities
High‑impact communication and presentation skills suitable for senior client stakeholders
Strategic thinker with hands‑on experience in building and executing lead‑generation programs
Bachelor's degree required
Self‑starter with strong ownership, resilience, and a bias toward action
Preferred
MBA/Management degree from a premier institution preferred
