VP – New Business Development, BFS (BPO/BPS)
Coforge is seeking a senior leader to drive strategic revenue growth across the Banking & Financial Services landscape in North America. This role focuses on acquiring new clients, expanding strategic accounts, and enhancing the company's position as a trusted partner for BFS clients.
Responsibilities
Deliver annual revenue, quota, and profitability objectives through effective pipeline management and execution of high‑impact sales strategies
Drive new business acquisition and cross‑sell opportunities within the BFS segment including banking, lending, cards, payments, financial services, capital markets, and emerging fintech spaces
Stay closely aligned with market dynamics, regulatory trends, client priorities, and digital transformation themes to shape new opportunities
Secure face‑to‑face meetings and build strong relationships with CXOs, senior decision makers, and enterprise stakeholders
Own the end-to-end sales cycle—including opportunity identification, qualification, solutioning collaboration, proposal creation, commercials, and final negotiations
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of client business models, technology platforms, operating processes, fee structures, contractual obligations, and revenue performance metrics
Partner with marketing teams to develop targeted lead generation campaigns, thought leadership programs, and brand‑building initiatives
Represent the organization at BFS industry events, conferences, and roundtables to drive visibility and build executive connections
Work closely with delivery, solutioning, and leadership teams to craft differentiated value propositions aligned to client needs
Demonstrate deep understanding of BFS domain operations and pain points across the customer lifecycle
Provide strong financial and business acumen to structure winning deals with proper risk assessment and mitigation planning
Monitor industry developments, regulatory changes, and competitor strategies to keep offerings relevant and competitive
Qualification
Required
Strong expertise in Banking & Financial Services Operations across key verticals (Retail Banking, Commercial Banking, Lending, AML/KYC, Payments, Cards, Financial Crime, Capital Markets, etc.)
10+ years of experience in outside sales or account management within BFS services/BPO/BPS or enterprise-level solution sales in a related industry
Demonstrated ability to open doors, secure executive-level meetings, and close large BPS deals
Excellent client-management, influencing, and negotiation capabilities at senior decision-maker levels
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high competency in risk assessment and mitigation planning
Exceptional communication, executive storytelling, and presentation skills
Experience utilizing strategic sales planning, pipeline governance, and lead-generation frameworks
Bachelor's degree required
Self-starter with a high degree of initiative, ownership, and resilience
Preferred
MBA/Management degree from a premier institute
