$19/hr - $23/hrTEKsystems is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide on-site technical assistance to end users in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment. The role involves installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and repairing desktop hardware and software within a primarily Windows-based environment.

Responsibilities
Deliver on‑site desktop support including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and repair of devices
Support end users directly through in‑person and remote assistance
Configure and deploy computer equipment and peripherals
Diagnose and resolve operating system and application issues
Perform basic network troubleshooting and escalate complex issues when needed
Document work in a ticketing system and follow established procedures
Assist with imaging, upgrades, and device migrations
Maintain strong communication and customer service while managing multiple support requests
Qualification
Required
Experience in desktop or technical support, including troubleshooting and hardware repair
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work on‑site and interact directly with end users
Basic understanding of network connectivity and troubleshooting
Experience with structured support workflows and documentation
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Preferred
Experience supporting Windows‑based environments
Familiarity with device imaging and deployment
Exposure to account administration and user access support
Relevant certifications or equivalent knowledge
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to support junior team members
