Clinical Operations Consultant

Responsibilities
Deliver training, workflow support, and best-practice recommendations
Act as a trusted advisor to clinical leaders, care managers, physicians, and operational teams
Support change management initiatives by helping customers adapt workflows and processes
Assess the operating environment, identify critical success factors and risks that may affect the success of a deployment and client outcomes
Monitor adoption, identify gaps, and recommend optimization strategies from a value framework
Translate clinical operations workflow requirements into solution configurations
Advise and assist hospital users on how to best integrate Qventus product features into these processes
Lead clinical discovery sessions to capture requirements and align platform capabilities with clinical objectives
Understands the clinical operating environment and workflow needs, leads clients to adopt effective patient flow and discharge planning processes
Collaborate with product, engineering, and implementation teams to ensure successful delivery and adoption
Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to advise on roadmap items based on clinical trends and customer needs
Work with Marketing to develop clinically accurate messaging, case studies, and demo scripts
Influence product enhancement & developments
Review program performance data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement
Partner with customers to create performance improvement plans and measure outcomes
Stay up-to-date on clinical standards, regulatory changes, and value-based care models
Represent the company at conferences, webinars, and industry events as a clinical voice as needed
Bring insights from the market back into product positioning and competitive analysis
Think creatively about new use cases for the product and work with the product, data science and engineering teams to scope, develop and implement new solutions, use cases and applications for the Qventus platform
Qualification
Required
A healthcare professional license with 5+ years of hospital clinical or operations experience and 2+ years in a process improvement consulting/project management/clinical informatics role with demonstrated knowledge of common hospital workflows
Experience in understanding clinical requirements, departmental workflows and the ability to creatively identify and design solutions that reflect user needs, integrate technology meaningfully within end-user workflows and position care teams to drive desired outcomes
A track record of leading clinical teams in process improvement and redesign projects
Experience using healthcare technology platforms such as EHRs, care management systems, or analytics tools
Strong interpersonal, communication (verbal + written), project management and client service skills with the political savvy to engage with client C-suite executives
Ability to translate clinical workflows into technical requirements
Comfortable with online & remote schedules
Ability to travel up to 40%
Preferred
Experience in health tech startup environment
A clinical background in care coordination, discharge planning or nursing leadership
Creative problem-solver, willing to be a trailblazer
