Responsibilities
Manage complex energy and natural resources transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions and project development
Handle renewable energy transactions such as joint ventures, power purchase agreements, and commercial contracts
Draft and negotiate engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) agreements for renewable energy facilities
Participate in financing transactions related to energy and infrastructure projects
Support oil and gas transactional matters as needed
Collaborate with partners, senior associates, and clients to structure and execute sophisticated deals
Identify and manage legal risks while advancing client business objectives
Work across practice groups to support large-scale, multi-party transactions
Qualification
Required
3–7 years of experience in energy, renewables, infrastructure, or natural resources transactional work
Experience in a sophisticated law firm environment handling complex transactions
Demonstrated experience with renewable energy deals and project development
Strong interpersonal skills and professional judgment
Ability to manage multiple matters and competing priorities efficiently
Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction, in good standing
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency in legal research and transactional documentation
Entrepreneurial mindset with a collaborative, team-oriented approach
Ability to work independently while contributing to team success
