Investment Management
Responsibilities
Client Advocacy & Consultation: Act as the first point of contact via phone and in-person; translate complex client requests into technical requirements for the firm
Tax & Accounting: Prepare individual/small business tax returns and maintain general ledgers
Payroll & Billing: Manage quarterly/year-end payroll processing and support limited firm billing and invoicing activities
Office Support: Manage incoming calls and provide administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations
Compliance: Maintain standards required for industry Peer Reviews
Qualification
Required
Experience: Proven background in a public accounting firm with a strong grasp of tax and bookkeeping
Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills; ability to explain complex financial concepts to clients clearly
Adaptability: Comfortable shifting between technical production and client-facing administrative duties
Preferred
Certification: CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) status is highly preferred
