Responsibilities
Performs daily and monthly accounting processes including journal entries, account reconciliations and general ledger transactions
Prepares monthly client invoicing in coordination with the Program Management team
Enters subcontractor accounts payable invoices and manage needed cash disbursements
Assists in the preparation and analysis of financial information in accordance with GAAP
Prepares routine financial reports and ad-hoc reports for operational review and decision making
Provides analysis and recommendations to senior leadership by analyzing project financial performance, analyzing budget variances, and ensuring compliance
Assists with submission of information and necessary communication with internal and external auditors and respond appropriately to auditor comments and recommendations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
3+ years of accounting experience
Intermediate level skills in Adobe, Excel and other MS Office tools
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment
Versed in the industry and the Company's competitors
Ability to multitask and perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary
Preferred
Experience with mid-large size engineering/construction organization
CPA license
Strong technical accounting knowledge and understanding of US GAAP
Ability to work well under pressure and within short deadlines
Job costing and cost codes experience
High-level analytic skills
