This role involves installing and programming security systems for residential customers while ensuring exceptional service and customer satisfaction.
Information Technology
Responsibilities
Install and program Burglar Alarms, CCTV (IP & Analog), DVRs, and Access Control Systems
Install window breaks, door units, and smoke detectors
Troubleshoot signal issues to ensure proper alarm functionality
Perform daily hands-on field interactions with customers
Test and verify signals for all equipment
Train customers on equipment usage and connectivity
Complete necessary customer paperwork for each job
Accurately cost all parts used before closing out jobs
Maintain accurate truck inventory of ADT products
Deliver exceptional customer service
Achieve 90% Goal Attainment for completed installations with zero “go-backs”
Qualification
Required
Alarms, Security Systems, CCTV (IP & Analog), Honeywell, DSC
Low Voltage Wiring, Cable Installation, Crimping, Wire Wrapping
Troubleshooting and Repair
Familiarity with HDMI, Coax, Cat5/Cat6 cabling
Ability to work in residential environments
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable, adaptable, and solution-oriented
Ability to think quickly and read non-verbal cues
Customer-centric attitude with strong problem-solving skills
Preferred
Previous experience in installation, construction, or maintenance
Knowledge of home theater, HVAC, and related systems is a plus
