Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end solution design, development, and implementation for enterprise-level banking applications
Architect and implement scalable solutions using Java, microservices, and API frameworks
Oversee QA automation strategy leveraging Selenium and API automation tools (REST Assured, Postman, SoapUI etc.)
Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical roadmaps and deliverables
Provide expert consultation and thought leadership on digital transformation initiatives within BFSI (Banking/Financial Services)
Mentor and guide development and QA teams on best practices, coding standards, and automation frameworks
Conduct reviews of technical designs, automation scripts, test strategies, and solution architectures
Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, and regulatory standards in the banking domain
Manage stakeholder communication, risk mitigation, delivery timelines, and quality adherence
Qualification
Required
Valid years of IT experience with relevant years of experience in a Principal/Lead Consultant role
Strong hands-on programming expertise in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices
Proven automation expertise using Selenium WebDriver, TestNG/JUnit, and CI/CD pipelines
Strong API automation experience with tools/frameworks like REST Assured, Postman, Swagger
Mandatory Banking domain experience in areas such as Retail/Corporate Banking, Core Banking, Payments, Cards, Lending, or Digital Banking
Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile delivery methodologies, and DevOps tools
Experience leading complex, enterprise-scale transformation and modernization initiatives
Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills
Preferred
Banking / Capital Markets domain experience
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and drive resolution in a collaborative team environment
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Leadership experience, including leading teams, managing projects, and driving technical initiatives to successful completion
Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., ISTQB, Java certifications) are a plus
