Visual Merchandising & Fixture Coordinator

The Visual Merchandising and Fixture Coordinator will take ownership of the execution and logistical support for visual merchandising and signage programs, serving as a critical link between Sales and Marketing.

Responsibilities
Planogram Development: Be the primary resource for developing detailed fixture planograms and space planning layouts for retail partners to maximize product visibility and sales
Customer Fixture Ordering: In coordination with the Sales team, manage the process of drafting and placing customer orders for fixtures and signage from existing company inventory for retailer rollouts and resets
Inventory Monitoring: Serve as the primary point of contact for monitoring and maintaining accurate fixture and signage inventory within the warehouse. This includes closely tracking the correct ratio of all components (base fixtures, signage, sign holders, hardware, etc.) to ensure complete display kits are available at all times
Forecasting Support: Work in close coordination with the Director of Marketing and the National Sales Director to plan and forecast future signage and fixture needs based on current inventory levels and upcoming sales and marketing initiatives
Marketing Coordination: Act as the liaison with the Marketing team to coordinate and secure necessary photography, images, and marketing materials required for in-store displays and tradeshows
Re-Order Identification: Proactively identify and communicate fixture and signage re-order needs to the appropriate procurement department to prevent stockouts and support efficient field operations
Retail Field Execution: Travel frequently to provide direct, hands-on support to the Sales team for new store setups, in-store resets, and program rollouts
Visual Planning: Consult with Sales on recommending appropriate store fixtures and space planning based on retailer needs and brand standards
Logistics & Coordination: Manage all logistical needs for tradeshows, including coordinating the necessary fixtures, product samples, and collateral
Packing & Shipment: Organize, pack out, and ensure the accurate shipment of the entire tradeshow kit from the Berne Apparel warehouse
Setup & Teardown: Be responsible for the complete, hands-on setup of major tradeshow booths (typically two days prior to the show) and the teardown (typically two days post-show)
Post-Show Management: Coordinate the receiving of the tradeshow kit back into the warehouse, ensuring all materials are properly checked in, restocked, and stored efficiently
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 2+ years of professional experience in Visual Merchandising, Retail Operations, Tradeshow Planning, or a relevant Field Sales Support role
Proven ability to read, interpret, and create detailed planograms and execute complex space planning projects
Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, particularly in managing multi-component inventory and logistics
Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively train and communicate visual standards to sales personnel
High level of physical stamina and ability to handle the hands-on requirements of tradeshow setup and retail installation, including lifting up to 50 lbs
Willingness and ability to travel up to 60% of the time for retail field work and tradeshow support
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required
Preferred
Experience with Planogram software (e.g., JDA/Blue Yonder, Apollo, or similar) and/or SketchUp is a plus
