Responsibilities
Define, develop, test, analyze, and maintain new and pre-existing software programs and applications
Actively participate in code/design reviews and brainstorming sessions
Develop program and system documentation
Analyze and fix software errors in a timely and accurate fashion
Consult with users, architects, project leaders, and management to resolve problems and suggest alternatives
Qualification
Required
Bachelors degree in a Computer Science related major
Minimum of a 3.5 cumulative GPA
Object oriented background from school and/or internship
Define, develop, test, analyze, and maintain new and pre-existing software programs and applications
Actively participate in code/design reviews and brainstorming sessions
Develop program and system documentation
Analyze and fix software errors in a timely and accurate fashion
Consult with users, architects, project leaders, and management to resolve problems and suggest alternatives
Good oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
Good conceptualization and abstraction skills; ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely
Proactive and goal oriented; understands project vision and goals
Effective at managing time and prioritizing tasks
Enjoys working in teams with a diverse group of people
Looking for a challenge and a positive attitude
Willingness to learn and work in an agile methodology
Preferred
Knowledge of Java, SQL, DB2, JSP, AJAX, Web Services, Spring, and/or JUnit
Experience with OpenShift, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
Enthusiasm for driving improvement by finding and implementing solutions to new challenges
Must be able to learn and effectively use tools and software development techniques as practiced, acquired, or adopted within the IT Division
