10+ years expgenieX is seeking a senior AI consultant to lead business discovery and architecture for agentic AI projects. The role involves translating ambiguous business goals into clear, executable AI solutions and producing architecture artifacts that guide development teams.

Responsibilities
Lead discovery with business and product stakeholders to frame problems, constraints, and success metrics
Identify where agentic AI creates real leverage - and where it does not
Design end-to-end architectures for agentic and AI-powered solutions
Define multi-agent workflows, orchestration, and state management
Design RAG and retrieval systems (hybrid search, embeddings, evaluation)
Define tooling, permissions, and safety/guardrail strategies
Design human-in-the-loop and escalation mechanisms
Define failure modes, tradeoffs, cost considerations, and rollout strategies
Produce clear, concise architecture artifacts that engineering teams can execute on
Advise on model selection, deployment patterns, and build vs buy decisions
Collaborate closely with tech leads for periodic checkpoints and architectural revisions
Qualification
Required
10+ years in AI, ML, and/or complex software systems
Proven experience shipping enterprise grade AI systems (agentic, RAG, voice, automation or AI powered SaaS)
Strong systems and architectural thinking
Deep understanding of modern LLM capabilities and limitations
Prior experience in client-facing roles such as senior consultant, lead architect, principal engineer, or fractional CTO
