Stormwater Project Manager
Metric Geo is a well-established, employee-focused multidisciplinary engineering firm, seeking a Stormwater Project Manager / Project Engineer to lead and grow its Louisiana water resources practice. The role involves managing multiple stormwater and water resources projects while coordinating with clients and multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Responsibilities
Manage multiple stormwater and water resources projects, including drainage design, H&H modeling, watershed studies, and stormwater master plans
Develop scopes, fees, schedules, and oversee full project delivery
Coordinate with municipal clients, agencies, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams
Support FEMA floodplain and capital improvement projects
Oversee stormwater management, erosion & sediment control, and permitting
Review reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates
Provide technical oversight, QA/QC, and mentoring
Track project scope, schedule, and budget
Support client development and long-term account growth
Qualification
Required
BS in Civil Engineering or related field
PE license required
8–12+ years of water resources / stormwater experience
Strong hydrologic and hydraulic modeling experience
Experience with municipal or public-sector stormwater projects
Preferred
Louisiana / Gulf Coast project experience
FEMA floodplain or watershed program experience
Software: HEC-RAS (1D/2D), HEC-HMS, ICPR, XPSWMM, AutoCAD, GIS
