Responsibilities
Interact with government stakeholders and teaming partners to gather requirements and propose analytic solutions
Work with business analysts and government stakeholders to understand requirements and compile structured and unstructured data using the Microsoft Azure platform, ensuring its quality, accuracy, and reasonableness
Identify what we are doing wrong so we can fix it, and what we are doing right so we can improve on it
Experience ingesting large datasets so that they can accurately report findings to internal and external customers
Evaluate client operations, applications, and programming to identify database structural necessities
Implement procedures to ensure database functionality, quality, and compliance
Deliver work within time constraints, in teams and individually
Participate in Agile ceremonies such as stand ups, grooming, Sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos
Qualification
Required
Experience working with Microsoft Azure data services (Synapse, Data Factory, Azure SQL, Databricks)
Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for data processing and manipulation
Ability to ingest, compile, and validate structured & unstructured data
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and in Agile teams, meeting deadlines and owning tasks
Preferred
Experience designing or evaluating database structures and data quality/compliance procedures
Proven ability to handle large datasets and ensure accuracy in reporting
Excellent written/verbal communication, including presentation skills
Participation in Agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and familiarity with Agile workflows
