As a Director of Sales, you will be responsible for driving new business development and managing the full sales lifecycle while building strategic relationships with higher education institutions.
Responsibilities
Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities within higher education institutions
Conduct consultative sales presentations to CIOs, VPs, and decision-makers across IT and Student Services
Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation and closure
Collaborate with marketing and solutions engineering teams to deliver tailored demos and proposals
Build and maintain a healthy pipeline and accurately forecast deals and revenue
Represent BlackBeltHelp at industry events, webinars, and conferences
Maintain deep knowledge of industry trends, customer pain points, and competitive landscape
Qualification
Required
Experience in B2B SaaS or technology services sales; higher education or EdTech experience is required
Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas
Strong understanding of consultative and solution-based selling methodologies
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team
Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and sales enablement tools
