Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain secure archiving and journaling solutions for electronic communications (email, chat, collaboration tools) in compliance with regulatory requirements
Design and implement cutting-edge archiving and journaling solutions for electronic communications
Continuously identify opportunities to improve automation, scalability, and resilience
Ensure confidentiality, integrity, and security of communication data while adhering to internal policies
Develop monitoring frameworks and leverage analytics to track system health, detect anomalies, and proactively resolve issues
Analyze requirements, design and implement enhancements, and deliver projects on time
Prepare documentation and processes to enable ongoing support of systems
Identify opportunities for automation, scalability, and resilience in compliance systems
Stay informed on emerging technologies and regulatory changes to recommend innovative solutions
Communicate effectively and foster collaboration across technology, compliance, and business teams
Maintain clear communication, raise blockers early, and ensure alignment to improve delivery velocity and meet commitments
Act as a subject matter expert for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to ensure timely resolution and minimal business disruption
Qualification
Required
Experience in financial services or other highly regulated industries
Deep understanding of regulatory requirements (SEC, Client, MiFID II) and best practices for electronic communication capture
Expertise in archiving platforms (Veritas Enterprise Vault, Microsoft 365 Purview, Proofpoint) and monitoring tools (Splunk, Elastic)
Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Python) and integration with 3rd-party connectors for email, chat, SMS
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach
Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly and collaborate effectively across teams
