Responsibilities
Act as a trusted technical advisor for a large enterprise customer, supporting and optimizing Cisco Enterprise Networking environments in the U.S
Design, implement, and optimize Catalyst-based campus networks, including Catalyst Center, SDA, and Enterprise Routing & Switching
Provide hands-on consulting for network architecture, troubleshooting, migrations, and continuous improvement initiatives
Lead and support end-to-end technical solutions aligned with customer business outcomes, timelines, and risk reduction
Collaborate with internal teams, engineering, and stakeholders to resolve complex technical challenges
Apply automation and programmability concepts to improve operational efficiency (Python, Ansible, APIs)
Mentor and provide technical guidance to other engineers when needed
Continuously develop expertise across Enterprise Networking and adjacent technologies
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience)
8+ years of experience in Enterprise Networking consulting or professional services roles
Strong hands-on expertise in: Cisco Catalyst Switching, Catalyst Center, Enterprise Routing & Switching (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, VXLAN, VRF, etc.)
Experience designing and supporting large-scale enterprise campus networks
Solid understanding of network automation and programmability concepts
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to operate effectively in complex, ambiguous environments
Excellent communication skills and proven customer-facing experience
Preferred
CCNP (Enterprise, Security, or related track) or Cisco DevNet Professional
CCIE (Enterprise, Security, or related track) is a strong plus
Hands-on experience with: Software-Defined Access (SDA), Network automation using Python and Ansible, Wireless and Cisco ISE (nice to have), Network segmentation and TrustSec (preferred, not mandatory)
