SMB Account Executive (In-Person / Hybrid – Jacksonville, FL)
Permit Rockstar is a Florida-based construction technology company focused on fixing a broken permitting process. They are hiring their first SMB Account Executive to help grow their small-to-medium contractor customer base, responsible for prospecting, closing deals, and collaborating with leadership on sales strategies.

Responsibilities
Prospect and close SMB contractors using cold calls, email, LinkedIn, and creative outreach
Own deals end-to-end and continue selling into accounts you close
Build, manage, and work lead lists in the CRM
Take real ownership of CRM hygiene, pipeline management, and reporting
Collaborate directly with leadership on messaging, targeting, and GTM strategy
Experiment with creative ways to book meetings, including mailers, events, drop-ins, and field activity
Represent Permit Rockstar at industry events and trade shows
Use technology, automation, and AI tools to work smarter and move faster
Qualification
Required
Experience with cold outbound prospecting and closing SMB deals
Strong experience using and managing a CRM (this is important)
Comfort working lead lists, tracking activity, and owning pipeline
Tech-savvy and interested in using tools to improve sales performance
Creative, self-directed, and comfortable operating without a rigid playbook
Strong communication skills and comfort working closely with leadership
Preferred
Experience in construction, SaaS, or services is helpful but not required

Compensation includes base salary, commission, and potential equity.
This role has clear upside and meaningful room for advancement, including paths to Enterprise AE, AE Manager, or Sales Manager as we scale.
