The BA will work closely with clients to understand their software requirements and collaborate with the Development team to implement effective business solutions.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with customers to gain understanding of their business and software needs and challenges
Accurately forecast the effort required to develop, implement and deliver software products to client, requiring a deep knowledge of the software development process
Communicates customer needs and requirements to the Development team
Manage technical difficulties from project conception through implementation, working closely with Development team to problem solve and forecast project status

Required
Strong analytical, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
Excellent Customer Service orientation and desire to collaborate with customers to deliver business solutions
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to facilitate a team to consensus on scope, design decisions, and implementation decisions
Effectively manage simultaneous priorities/projects
Ability to fluently talk with customers about product needs and accurately document requirements formally or informally depending on the need of the project
Familiarity with software development lifecycles such as Scrum and Agile
Familiarity with requirements techniques such as, user stories, use cases, and informal modeling
Up to 10% travel to customer sites
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management Information Systems, or related area
Ability to communicate effectively
High level of alertness, concentration, accuracy, and time-management
Preferred
Prior experience in a Business Analyst role
