Inside Sales Representative – Closer, Business Development
Northfield Advisory is a middle market investment bank specializing in M&A advisory services. They are seeking an Inside Sales Representative – Closer to drive the closing process of new sell-side M&A engagements by converting qualified conversations into signed agreements.

Responsibilities
Drive the closing process from qualified opportunity to signed engagement letter
Conduct advisory consultations with pre-qualified owners of middle market businesses
Present Northfield Advisory’s sell-side M&A process, positioning, and value proposition
Confirm transaction readiness, owner objectives, valuation expectations, and overall fit
Address objections, questions, and decision friction with professionalism and clarity
Coordinate internal resources and senior bankers to support closing momentum
Maintain accurate CRM records and a disciplined opportunity pipeline
Share feedback on client sentiment, objections, and messaging effectiveness
Qualification
Required
Strong experience in B2B sales roles with a consistent track record of closing
Proven experience closing consultative B2B engagements (professional services preferred)
Strong ability to communicate with founders and executive leadership teams
Confident presentation, follow-up, and deal-advancement skills
Process-driven mindset with experience managing longer-cycle, high-trust sales
Ability to operate independently in a remote, performance-driven environment
Preferred
Background in M&A, investment banking, private equity, or financial services is a plus
