Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality engineering and technical consulting services to the pharmaceutical and biotech clients
Support and drive business development activities, leveraging an existing professional network and industry outreach events to identify, develop and secure new consulting engagements
Lead or support project execution from various stages spanning conception through implementation
Perform various engineering duties, which require the exercise of good engineering judgment and the application of standard engineering principles and practices to various projects
Projects may range in scope from but not limited to: Automation (Laboratory, Manufacturing, Building etc.), Using DCS & PLC to control complex manufacturing equipment and processes, cGMP documentation, MS&T and process engineering, Technical transfers, Equipment design, qualification and optimization, Testing, Deviation investigation and reporting, Site Support, Documentation
Effective communication and interfacing directly with client technical, quality and operations teams
Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers when required
Build and maintain long-term relations with client decision makers, project sponsors, industry partners/vendors etc
Partner and collaborate with Apro Resources leadership to support growth and company culture/vision, including keeping management updated with all lead and opportunity information

Required

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline)
5-10 years' experience in pharmaceutical or life sciences industries in one or more engineering technical disciplines outlined in job description
Strong understanding of GMP-regulated facilities and processes
Proven experience delivering engineering projects
Established professional network within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry
Demonstrated ability to engage with clients at both technical and business levels
Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
Comfortable operating in a client-facing, commercially driven environment
Highly motivated self-starter with a sense of ownership for defined goals

Preferred

Prior experience in engineering consulting or professional services
Track record of contributing to business development or account growth
Prior experience managing staff
