Responsibilities
Represent clients in complex copyright, trademark, privacy, and publicity disputes in federal and state courts
Lead litigation matters involving entertainment, media, and technology-related intellectual property issues
Provide strategic counsel focused on maximizing intellectual property value and protecting creative assets
Advise clients on dispute avoidance, risk mitigation, and compliance in rapidly evolving digital media environments
Handle matters involving licensing conflicts, ownership disputes, infringement claims, and related commercial litigation
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop litigation and settlement strategies aligned with business objectives
Serve as a senior advisor and mentor within the intellectual property litigation practice
Qualification
Required
Minimum of seven years of experience at a reputable law firm
Proven track record handling complex entertainment and intellectual property litigation
Experience representing high-profile clients in music, film, media, and corporate sectors
Demonstrated ability to manage sophisticated disputes independently
Portable book of business of at least $350K required
Strong leadership skills and client-development capabilities
Juris Doctor (JD) degree
Licensed to practice law in the state of Colorado
Expertise in handling complex IP litigation matters across multiple forums
Strong advisory skills related to IP value maximization and digital risk management
Excellent written and oral advocacy skills
Strategic thinking and sound judgment in high-stakes matters
Ability to communicate effectively with creative professionals, executives, and in-house counsel
