Responsibilities
Cleaning and preparing of sample media
Packaging and shipment of media to clients
Building and repairing flow controllers
Assembling and dismantling shipping boxes
Accuracy and attention to detail
Able to perform the physical requirements of the job
Ability to adhere to safety protocol
Demonstrate good Organizational skills ,versatility, flexibility, and efficiency
Effective use of time in managing multiple priorities
Interpret and understand oral or written instructions
Perform other support duties as assigned
Teamwork, working closely with all the departments
Additional duties as needed
Qualification
Required
Experienced in shipping, receiving, and/or warehousing
Experience with processing orders using internal LIMS
Strong mechanical aptitude
Proficient in use of shipping provider websites
Ability to take initiative and work in a fast-paced team environment
Good communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills
Consciousness of and a positive attitude toward quality control, safety, high production work and organized thought process
Good teamwork, ability to work closely with all the departments
Knowledge of Internet software and the Microsoft Office Suite of products
Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
Adherence to safety protocol and operation procedures
Communicate well with coworkers and management
Read, understand and comply with SOPs
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds on a continuous basis, stand for prolonged periods
Work upright, bend and use hands and arms repetitively to perform moderate physical work duties
The ability to push carts with objects on board weighing up to 50 pounds
Hearing and speaking are needed to listen effectively and talk with individuals in person or on the phone
